
Dota 2 DreamLeague Season 27 Overview

On December 10, 2025, the final Tier-1 Dota 2 tournament of the year — DreamLeague Season 27 will begin. The tournament will feature 24 teams, including both the top contenders and newcomers to the professional scene. The teams will compete for the championship title and a prize pool of $1 million. DreamLeague Season 27 Format and Dates

DreamLeague Season 27 will take place from December 10 to December 21, 2025 in a new format for the series,
Group Stage (December 10 - December 16, 2025)
- 24 teams swiss-system
- All matches are Bo3
- Top eight teams advance to playoffs
- Remaining teams are eliminated
Playoffs (December 17 - December 21, 2025)
- Double-elimination bracket
- Grand Final is Bo5, all other matches are Bo3
The tournament will traditionally be held online on European servers. In the Group Stage, the teams will play 6 rounds in a Bo3 format, after which the 8 strongest teams will advance to the playoffs. This format is new to the series and promises exciting matches.
