
Dota 2 BLAST Slam VI Overview

The first Dota 2 Tier-1 tournament of 2026 is BLAST Slam VI. The event will start on February 3, with 12 of the strongest teams competing for the championship title and a prize pool of $1 million. The tournament will be held in the classic format for the series, featuring a large number of matches. BLAST Slam VI Format and Dates
BLAST Slam VI will take place from February 3 to February 15, 2026, in Malta. This is the first Tier-1 tournament of the year, so teams will definitely approach it with full responsibility.

BLAST Slam VI format:
Group Stage (February 3 - February 5)
- 12 teams Bo1 round-robin
- Top 2 teams advance to Semifinals
- 3rd to 8th place teams proceed to Play-In
- 9th to 12th place teams proceed to Last Chance Playoff
Last Chance Playoff & Play-In (February 6 - February 8)
- All matches are Bo3
- Winner advance to Quarterfinals
- Remaining teams are eliminated
Playoffs (February 13 - February 15)
- Single-elimination bracket
- All matches are Bo5
This format ensures a large number of matches and a fairer determination of the strongest teams. In addition, both top-tier professional giants such as Tundra Esports and Team Liquid, as well as tournament debutants GamerLegion and REKONIX, will be participating, so the matches are sure to be exciting.
