MKOI Defeat Team Secret Whales 2-1 and Eliminate Them From the World Championship 2025

The first two games were traded back and forth, and it was quite entertaining to watch how it all unfolded. Both teams are known for their aggressive playstyle, which meant constant movement and skirmishes across the map almost every minute. However, this kind of approach comes with high risks — one mistake can cost you the entire game. That’s exactly what we saw during the first two maps, as both teams made numerous errors, sometimes even absurd ones, which snowballed out of control.

The third game followed a similar high-tempo pattern, with both teams relentlessly forcing fights and contesting every inch of the map. However, K’Sante made a huge difference in this match — not only holding his lane well but also buying plenty of time and space for his teammates. And in the late game, K’Sante’s strength really showed, as he became nearly unkillable. As a result, the decisive map went to MKOI.

After this match, MKOI move up to a 2-2 record, just one victory away from advancing to the Knockout Stage. However, the road ahead won’t be easy, as the remaining opponents are incredibly strong. Unfortunately for Team Secret Whales, their Worlds 2025 journey ends here as they are eliminated from the tournament.
