Worlds 2022 has officially started. Play-In matches started yesterday in Mexico, where 12 teams are fighting for 4 tickets to the group stage.

In group A, 4 fights took place, after which the sole leader was formed. They were representatives of the European LEC Fnatic, who won 2 out of 2 matches.

The Worlds 2022: Group A Play-In will continue tonight. Matches resume at 22:00 CET, and the second day of confrontations will be opened by current run leaders Fnatic with a game against DetonatioN FocusMe.

Recall that worlds 2022 will be held from September 29 to November 5 in four cities in Mexico and the United States. The world title match will take place at the Chase Center, San Francisco. The total prize fund of the tournament will be $2,225,000, and in total 24 teams will play in the tournament.
