Group of Death matches at the Worlds 2022 Play-In are over. Group B winners were DRX .

The South Korean club showed all the best that the LCK school gives: the team did not lose a single match. A peremptory performance will allow the team to advance to the group stage with their colleagues T1, Gen.G and DAMWON.

DRX outplayed Royal Never Give Up on the first game day with a small comeback and then defeated Saigon Buffalo and Istanbul Wildcats on the second game day. On the fourth day, DRX defeated Isurus , after which, at the end of Play-In, they finished off MAD Lions .

The second place in the group was taken by the reigning champions MSI – Royal Never Give Up. The “Kings” lost their debut match against DRX, which did not allow them to directly get into the group stage. In third place are MAD Lions (3-2) and Saigon Buffalo (2-3). At the Play-In Worlds 2022 stage, Isurus and İstanbul Wildcats left.

Group B will play MAD Lions and Saigon Buffalo in the first round of Play-In #2. The winner of the pair will advance to Evil Geniuses.
