Dota Pro Circuit: Nigma Galaxy suffer third defeat
Ihor MatusAnother day of the Dota Pro Circuit has come to an end. Within its framework, we could see matches in Western Europe, China and North America.
Western Europe
First division
The first division of the Western European region hosted two matches with the participation of Alliance, COOLGUYS, OG and Nigma Galaxy. In the first confrontation, Alliance did not concede a single map in the fight against COOLGUYS and beat the latter with a result of 2-0, which allowed Alliance to end their losing streak, which consisted of two. COOLGUYS lost for the third time in a row. In the second confrontation of the last gaming day, Nigma Galaxy could not cope with the power of OG and did not even take a single card from them. Because of this turn of events, Nigma Galaxy is now just like COOLGUYS at the very bottom of the group stage table. OG, in turn, reached the top 2 and is now second only to the players from Team Liquid.
Results of the past matches:
- Alliance 2-0 COOLGUYS
- OG 2-0 Nigma Galaxy
Today we will be able to watch the battle between Team Liquid, who lead the group stage table, and Tundra Esports, who are tied for second place with OG, Team Secret and Team Tickles.
Second division
Yesterday in the second division of the Dota Pro Circuit in Western Europe there was only one confrontation. No Bounty Hunter fought the Ghost Frogs, where they could not win on any map. This alignment of things forces No Bounty Hunter to continue to occupy the last line with already three existing defeats. Ghost Frogs, in turn, share the fourth line with Entity, CHILLAX, Into The Breach and Team Bald Reborn, who have a score of 1-2.
Today we have two matches: Into The Breach vs Entity and Brame vs Chicken Fighters.
China
Second division
While the participants of the first division are preparing for the battles that will start on January 3, the teams of the second division are already fighting with might and main with their opponents and are fighting for the right to enter the first division in the next round of the Dota Pro Circuit. On December 14, three matches took place in which Team MagMa beat ShenZhen 2-0, Sparking Arrow Gaming beat Ybb 2-1, and Xtreme Gaming tried to beat CDEC Gaming, but the attempt was unsuccessful.
As a reminder, CDEC Gaming and Neptune Gaming have already lost their chance to enter the second division of the second round of DPC 2021/2022. ShenZhen showed with today's match that they can no longer fight for the first division. Aster.Aries, Sparking Arrow Gaming, Team MagMa, Xtreme Gaming and Ybb are still in the game, with a score of 4-2.
Results of the past matches:
- ShenZhen 0-2 Team MagMa
- Sparking Arrow Gaming 2-1 Ybb
- CDEC Gaming 2-1 Xtreme Gaming
The next second division matches in China will take place on December 17th.
North America
First division
Evil Geniuses and Wildcard Gaming held the only meeting during yesterday's gaming day. EG were unable to take a single card from Wildcard and were naturally defeated. Now Wildcard Gaming are in third place with a score of 2-1, and Evil Geniuses with a score of 1-2 are tied for fifth place along with Black N Yellow.
Today will bring us two confrontations within the first division of the North American League for Dota 2. In the first one, 4 Zoomers will compete with Simply TOOBASED, and in the second, Arkosh Gaming will compete with Black N Yellow.
Second division
In the second division, The Cut defeated KBU.US 2-0 and solidified their lead over the rest of the league. They now top the group stage table 3-0. KBU.US, in turn, share the 4th line with 4 other members.
The next match of the second division of the North American Dota Pro Circuit 2021/2022 will be held on December 17.
Valve changed the format of the Dota Pro Circuit 2021/2022. Now the league is divided into three rounds and has three intermediate Major-championships. Tours take place in winter, spring and summer, and the annual The International will end the season in the fall. Prize funds for each round and Major event will increase.
