The French will join the invited Astralis and Team Liquid . Five more teams will also take part in the championship. Two of them will receive direct invitations, while the other three will go through two regional qualifications and through the GG.Bet Beijing Invitational.

The last tournament in which Team Vitality took part was StarLadder Berlin Major 2019. The French approached him as one of the main favorites for the victory, but could not meet the expectations of the audience. The team was defeated in the battle with AVANGAR and took 5-8th place in the competition. As a result, Nathan 'NBK-' Schmitt was excluded from the composition. His place is rumored to be taken by Richard 'shox' Papillon or Fabien 'kioShiMa' Fiey. At the moment, representatives of Vitality have not commented on these rumors.
