At the CS Asia Championships 2025 held in Shanghai, the FUT team managed to defeat the tournament favorites FaZe with a 13:11 score in a bo1 series, pulling off an incredible comeback after being down 0:8. The CS Asia Championships 2025 runs from October 14 to 19, featuring a $400,000 prize pool, with $150,000 going to the winner.

Mirage (13:11 FUT)

The teams picked Mirage. From the very first rounds, FaZe dominated and completely controlled the pace of the game. Playing on the CT side in the first half, they led 8:0, and it seemed that FUT had no chance left. The underdogs managed to take only three rounds before halftime. However, everything changed in the second half — FaZe extended their lead to 11:5, needing just two rounds to win, but FUT turned the tide. They seized the momentum and pulled off an astonishing streak of eight consecutive rounds to claim a 13:11 victory.

Match MVP

The best player of the match was dem0n. The Ukrainian player’s performance was pivotal in this clash. With a first kill-to-death ratio of 4:1, his aggressive playstyle was crucial in fueling FUT’s incredible comeback. His stats for the match: ADR – 89.6, Swing +6.47%, and rating – 1.57.

Unexpectedly, FaZe drop to the lower bracket, where they will face B8, and a loss would mean elimination from the tournament. FUT, on the other hand, advance to the upper bracket to play against HEROIC. The CS Asia Championships 2025 takes place from October 14 to 19 in Shanghai, with a $400,000 prize pool, and $150,000 awarded to the champion.
