3499forZe performed very well in the group stage, having beaten Windigo Gaming and HellRaisers. They didn’t allow Windigo to win a rematch in the semi-final and played against a strong team in the face of Heroic in the final. There, the Europeans won one map but it was not enough to beat forZe, on the outcome of which the last one became the champion of GG.Bet Chicago Invitational. Heroic earned a consolation prize in the sum of $5,000.
An interesting fact: if forZe’s performance at the LAN final doesn’t go the way it should, they will earn for the 7th-8th place less than Heroic for the 2nd place in the qualifiers, namely, $4,000.
Intel Extreme Masters Chicago 2019 will be held on July 18-21. The overall prize pool will amount $250,000 and United Center will be a venue.
