The teams will take part in the closed qualifying stage to Intel Extreme Masters Sydney XIV together with four invited teams and two other rosters, which will also advance through the open qualification.

One invite to the main event will be up for grabs in the Oceanian countries.

Intel Extreme Masters Sydney XIV will be carried out in Sydney, Australia from April 30 to May 5. Qudos Bank Arena will be a venue traditionally and the prize pool will amount $250,000, $100,000 of which will go to the winner’s pocket.

At the moment, 14 out of 16 participants are known. The last two will be determined with the help of qualifiers in Oceania and at IEM Sydney Derby.

Direct invites were received by such teams as FaZe Clan, Fnatic, Team Liquid, MIBR, mousesports, Ninjas in Pyjamas, NRG Esports, and Renegades. Heroic achieved victory at GG.Bet Sydney Invitational, and BIG, eUnited, Vici Gaming, MVP PK, and B.O.O.T became the best in the regional qualifiers, which were hosted in Europe, North America, China, East Asia, and Southeast Asia, respectively.
