The Malta Vibes Knockout Series 1 has come to an end. The championship, which was held online from August 16 to 26, 40 teams competed for a total prize pool of $ 50,000. The winner of the tournament was the Entropiq team, which in the grand final was stronger than ENCE with a score of 2: 1.

The Russian team, as well as the rival in the final, began their journey to Malta Vibes Knockout Series 1 from the second stage, having received an invitation exactly to the 1/8 finals. However, Entropiq did not have a problem to pass K23 (2: 0), Lyngby Vikings (2: 0) and Copenhagen Flames (2: 1) to compete for the championship.

The grand final itself proceeded in a tense scenario, since already on the first map we witnessed a comeback from Entropiq in defense. As a result, a confident series of rounds allowed the team to reduce the case to overtime, and then take their pick with a score of 19:16. On the second map, the situation turned upside down, as the guys from Entropiq were in the lead for a long time. Nevertheless, ENCE quickly pulled herself together in defense and was able to show composure, thereby leveling the score in the series - 16:13. However, on the decisive map, the Russian team made no mistakes, once again showing convincing play in defense - 16: 8.

With this win, Entropiq earned $ 24,000, while ENCE won $ 8,000.
