K23 advanced to the next round of Malta Vibes Knockout Series # 1

Yesterday's game day Malta Vibes Knockout Series # 1 completed the performance of four teams and led the other four to the next round.

In the first battle, 1win and Nexus Gaming fought. This fight was quite intriguing. 1win beat Nexus 16-7 on Vertigo, after which Nexus beat their opponents 16-12 on Mirage and drew the game. Dust 2 was the last place to fight and ended 16-13 in favor of 1win. Thus, 1win, having made great efforts, advanced to the second round, and Nexus Gaming finished their way in the tournament.

In the second confrontation, Wisla Krakow and Illuminar Gaming played against each other. The battle between the participants of the meeting passed quickly enough and ended with a score of 16-13 on Nuke and 16-6 on Overpass. This time in this Polish derby the winners were Wisla Krakow, who went to the next round, and Illuminar Gaming were forced to complete their path in the event. There, the team will oppose the winner of the PACT vs OFFSET Esports meeting.

In the third match, famous Kazakh esportsmen from K23 came face to face with 4glory. Nuke became the first map and K23 won a very confident victory over the opponents there with a score of 16-6. On Dust 2, the team lost 10 rounds in the fight against 4glory Esports, but eventually won and advanced to the next round. 4glory finished their way in the championship.

Copenhagen Flames and Imperial Esports played in the last match of yesterday's game day. The teams fought first on Ancient, and then on Inferno. In both cases, Copenhagen Flames prevented their opponents from going beyond the threshold of 10 won rounds. The first map ended with a score of 16-8 in favor of CPH Flames, and the second - with a score of 16-10. As a result, Copenhagen Flames advanced to the next round, and Imperial finished their way in the championship. In the next duel, Copenhagen Flames will face off against 1win, who have previously beaten Nexus Gaming. This is the first pair formed in the second round.

Malta Vibes Knockout Series # 1 started on August 16 and runs until the 26th. The total prize pool of the championship is $ 50,000 and it will be distributed among the teams in an unusual way. The winner of the tournament will take home $ 16,000, and the vice-champion of the event - $ 5,000.
