Matches on August 19 within the Malta Vibes Knockout Series # 1 came to an end. It's time to take stock of the first round, as they are all left behind. Based on the results of yesterday's meetings, we learned the names of all participants in the Round of 24 in the playoff stage.

In the first match on August 19, teams such as Team Spirit Academy and Esports Club Kyiv fought against each other. The fight took place on two maps. At the first of them, namely Mirage, the academic staff of Team Spirit spent the entire meeting under their own dictation, giving their opponents only 3 rounds. The second map for battles was Dust 2. In it, Esports Club Kyiv managed to impose some kind of struggle on their opponents and the players were able to take 12 rounds, but Patsy and his teammates from Team Spirit Academy still won with a score of 16-12. Team Spirit will meet ex-100PingGods in the next round, but Esports Club Kyiv will be able to watch the events of the tournament as spectators.

In the second confrontation, teams such as Nemiga Gaming and Onyx faced off against each other. The first map was Inferno. There the match was not held “with one goal,” as they say in the world of football, and both teams showed strength of mind. However. Nemiga Gaming managed to win there with a score of 16-12. Onyx, in turn, showed great efforts on Nuke, however, they did not manage to win there either. Nevertheless, this fight became one of the most memorable in Malta Vibes Knockout Series # 1, as the participants of the meeting needed to use a series of additional rounds in order to determine the winner. The second match of this game day, just like the first, was finished with a score of 2-0. Nemiga Gaming advanced to the next round to face GORILLAZ, while Onyx completed the event.

Izako Boars and Team Finest met in the third match. This meeting became quite tense and took place on three maps. The first of them was Overpass, where Izako Boars took 12 rounds, but were eventually defeated. The Polish team rehabilitated themselves on Dust 2, beating their opponents with a score of 19-17. The team went to great lengths to achieve their goal, but it was worth it. With a score of 1-1, the teams went to Nuke in order to determine the winner of the entire fight. On the third map, Team Finest did not play as much as on the first two. In this regard, Izako Boars showed excellent defense, taking 12 rounds, and after that put the squeeze on the remaining 4 rounds in the attack. The match ended with a score of 16-7, and the overall result of the game was 2-1 in favor of Izako Boars. The Poles made a comeback, which cannot but inspire respect. Thanks to a good performance, Izako Boars players managed to advance to the next round, where they will compete with representatives of 777 Esports. Team Finest, in turn, joined the teams that left the competition.

In the last battle of August 19, the Young Ninjas faced off against VP.Prodigy. The academic staff of the eSports club Virtus.pro showed good play both on Overpass and Ancient, taking 11 rounds on the first map, and 14 on the second. Nevertheless, the NiP academy performed better this time and advanced to the next round. CIS derby will not be seen this time and Young Ninjas will fight against K23 players instead of VP.Prodigy.
