Astralis, ENCE and Heroic victories - closing the third game day of ESL Pro League Season 14
/The third game day of ESL Pro League Season 14 is over, which means it's time to sum up and talk about all the memorable moments. Note that the day passed without sensations, as all the favorites scored points and settled in the standings.
The game day was opened by a meeting between Astralis and Bad News Bears. But if on the Inferno map the Danes literally smeared the opponent, then on Nuke the team tried to create problems with their own hands. Nevertheless, Astralis outplayed the North American guests in class, adding yet another bagel to the table.
Next, we saw another powerlessness from Spirit players. And if on Nuke the Russian team was still trying to show signs of life, invariably clinging to the rounds, then on their traditional choice of Dust 2 the "dragons" crumbled without showing anything intelligible. In such a situation, ENCE successfully seized the moment to get a second victory in a row and take the next three points into its piggy bank.
In the evening, the organizers pampered us with a cool sign - Heroic vs. Vitality. Already at the start of Vertigo, the Danes pointed the French to the spot, winning 13 rounds in the first half. Of course, the technical side of Heroic is on a level, so the team quite confidently closed the opponent at his peak - 16: 7. For a long time, equality reigned on Nuke; but the excellent attack of the French brought the team a victory and made it possible to level the score in the series. The decisive map was also not without intrigue, since none of the teams could gallop forward. And yet, a successful play on the attacking side from Heroic allowed the team to snatch victory and score another three points.
