NAVI wins ESL Pro League Season 14

The NAVI team became the winner of ESL Pro League Season 14. In the grand final of the Born to Win championship, they were stronger than the French from Vitality with a score of 3: 2.

It all started on the map Dust 2, which became the staging ground for the future victory of NAVI. After two confident halves, "Born to Win" were able to lead the series, taking their own choice with a score of 16:10. However, on Inferno the balance of power changed for the first time, as the players of the French team dominated here. And if before the change of sides NAVI was still trying to fight, then after the change - Vitality did not give up a single round, having recorded a landslide victory (16: 6).

Nevertheless, on Nuke everything changed again, because the French defense was not ready for the opponent's play. As a result, the advantage gained in the first half allowed NAVI to take the second map into their asset, having managed to come out ahead in the series again.

On Overpass, the advantage again fell into the hands of Vitality, which practically did not notice the resistance of NAVI - 16: 7. The fate of the fight smoothly spilled over onto the Mirage map, the winner of which was determined at the very end. NAVI, having got into an unpleasant economic history, nevertheless managed to get together in the denouement, not allowing a comeback from the French - 16:14.

Along with this victory, NAVI becomes the owner of Intel Grand Slam 3, earning $ 1,000,000. Recall that earlier the team won three championships in the season: IEM Katowice 2020, DreamHack Masters Spring 2021 and IEM Cologne 2021. In addition, NAVI received an invitation to BLAST Premier: World Final 2021 at the end of the year.
