Vitality eliminate Spirit from BLAST Rivals 2025 S2 and advance to the semifinals
Team Spirit failed to withstand Vitality’s pressure and ended their run at BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2. Despite winning on Dust2, the Dragons lost the next two maps — Nuke and Mirage — and exited the tournament in 5–6th place. Vitality, meanwhile, will continue their campaign in the semifinals against Falcons.
Dust2 (13:11 Spirit)
On their own map pick, Team Spirit faced strong resistance from Vitality. Despite an even first half, Vitality managed to deliver an aggressive T side after the switch. donk played a key role, helping Spirit secure the win without overtime, closing the map 13:11.
Nuke (16:19 Vitality)
On the second map, Spirit started confidently and jumped to a 5:0 lead. However, by round six, Vitality slowed down their opponents and equalized the half at 6:6. Playing CT, Vitality reached map point, but Spirit, thanks to sh1ro, pulled off a three-round streak to force overtime. Despite tN1R’s efforts, Spirit eventually fell 16:19, sending the match to Mirage.
Mirage (13:16 Vitality)
The decisive Mirage was tense for both sides. Vitality took a narrow 7:5 lead into halftime. Once on defense, Spirit once again managed to force overtime — but this time Vitality gave up only one round, closing the deciding map 16:13.
Match MVP
The MVP of the match was ZywOo. The Vitality AWPer once again made a significant impact on his team’s victory. His stats: ADR – 87.7, Swing +4.03, and a 1.28 rating.
Spirit leave BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2 in 5–6th place, taking home $25,000. Vitality will face Falcons in the semifinals. BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2 takes place from November 12 to 16, featuring a $350,000 prize pool, with the winner earning $125,000 and 2 Freq. Flyer Tokens.
