
Astralis advance to the Upper Bracket Final at IEM Chengdu after defeating The MongolZ
Astralis secured their second victory at IEM Chengdu 2025, defeating The MongolZ 2–0. The Danish squad confidently closed out Nuke and Inferno, booking their spot in the Group A Upper Bracket Final. Despite the loss, the brightest player of the match was 910, who delivered an impressive individual performance.
Nuke (11:13 Astralis)
The match began on Astralis’ map pick. Starting on the T side, the Danes played aggressively and built an 8–4 lead. In the second half, The MongolZ responded with an equally aggressive offense, tying the score at 11–11 and coming close to turning the map in their favor. However, Astralis managed to regain control and closed out Nuke 13–11.
Inferno (8:13 Astralis)
On The MongolZ’s pick, the first half was neck and neck, with both teams fighting hard for every round. In the second half, Astralis took full control on the T side. The MongolZ managed to win only two rounds, and Inferno ended 13–8 in favor of Astralis.
