At PGL Bucharest 2026, a tense match took place between the Ukrainian side B8 and the Danish team Astralis, proving to be a real test for both teams. The BO3 series delivered three competitive maps, with momentum constantly shifting, and the winner was determined only on the deciding map, Ancient.

Mirage (16:12 Astralis)

The series started on Mirage, where Astralis quickly took control and dictated the pace of the game. The Danes were more efficient in key rounds, allowing them to secure a 16:12 victory in overtime.

Nuke (8:13 B8)

On Nuke, the Ukrainian squad managed to turn things around. B8 showed a much more structured defense, winning most of the crucial rounds and preventing their opponents from finding impact on the offense. As a result, the map ended 13:8 in favor of B8, tying the series.

Ancient (13:8 Astralis)

The deciding map, Ancient, was controlled by Astralis. The Danish side looked more composed in key moments, managed their economy better, and confidently closed out clutch situations. This allowed them to win the map 13:8 and take the series 2:1.

The MVP of the match was npl from B8. He delivered a consistently strong performance throughout the series, finishing with an ADR of 81.5 and a 1.26 rating, making him the standout player for his team despite the loss.
