MOUZ kicked off their IEM Chengdu 2025 campaign in dominant fashion, sweeping FaZe Clan 2:0. The European squad showcased total control on both maps — Ancient (13:5) and Inferno (13:8) — with xertioN emerging as the star of the series, posting a 1.63 rating and an impressive 12:2 opening kill ratio.
Ancient (13:5 MOUZ)
The match began on Ancient, where FaZe started strong by taking the pistol and follow-up round. However, MOUZ quickly seized control, closing the first half with a commanding 9:3 lead. On the T side, MOUZ continued their aggressive and confident play, sealing the map 13:5.
Inferno (13:8 MOUZ)
On Inferno, FaZe never managed to find their rhythm. MOUZ dominated the first half, denying FaZe any room to maneuver. Switching to the T side, MOUZ maintained their pressure and closed out the series 2–0 without much resistance.

IEM Chengdu runs from November 3 to 9 with a total prize pool of $1 million — $300,000 distributed among the teams and another $700,000 allocated for the tournament organization.
