The MongolZ overcame Falcons with a clean 2–0 victory in the IEM Cologne 2025 Group A upper bracket semi-final. Senzu delivered an MVP-level performance, posting a 1.56 rating and 97.5 ADR. The MongolZ advance to the upper final, while Falcons drop to the lower bracket, where they will face the winner of Astralis vs FURIA.

Map 1 – Dust2 (13:9 The MongolZ)

Falcons chose Dust2 but struggled to convert their early opportunities. The MongolZ took an 8–4 lead at halftime on the T side, with Senzu dominating mid-control battles. Falcons closed the gap in the second half, but a critical 1v4 clutch from bLitz in Round 15 shifted momentum, securing The MongolZ the opening map.

Map 2 – Mirage (13:9 The MongolZ)

The MongolZ’s pick of Mirage proved effective. They controlled the pace with strong executes and led 7–5 at halftime. Falcons briefly threatened a comeback, but 910’s multi-kill rounds in late-game situations shut down any chance of forcing a decider.

The result places The MongolZ in the Group A upper final, where they will face the winner of Vitality vs G2. Falcons fall to the lower bracket and must win their next match to stay alive in the tournament. Their opponent will be the winner of Astralis vs FURIA.
