After nearly a decade, Counter-Strike’s most iconic event is making its long-awaited return to Cologne. The IEM Cologne Major 2026 is officially confirmed, bringing Major status back to the Cathedral of Counter-Strike for the first time in 9 years.

IEM Cologne 2025 took place from July 26 to August 3 in Cologne, Germany. Featuring the world’s top teams, the event included a Group Stage and Playoffs, with a $1,000,000 prize pool and Spirit crowned champions.
