
Aurora vs Ninjas in Pyjamas – IEM Cologne 2025 Group B Upper Bracket Quarter-Final
Aurora secured a clean 2–0 victory over Ninjas in Pyjamas in the IEM Cologne 2025 Group B upper bracket quarter-final. Led by MVP Özgür “woxic” Eker, who posted a 1.46 rating across two maps, Aurora controlled key rounds and advanced to the upper bracket semi-final, while NiP will continue their run in the lower bracket.

Aurora’s pick started slowly with NiP taking an 8–4 lead by halftime. After switching sides, Aurora’s attack clicked, fueled by multi-kill rounds from Wicadia and a pivotal 1v2 clutch from sjuush that briefly kept NiP in contention. Woxic closed the map strong, securing 27 kills and turning the momentum.
Map 2 – Train (19:15 Aurora)
NiP’s pick turned into a tight overtime battle. Aurora built an early 8–4 lead on CT but NiP evened the score by winning the second half 8–4. In overtime, Aurora’s aggression paid off, with Wicadia and woxic combining for decisive entries and a perfect 7–3 OT finish to end the series.
With this win, Aurora moves on to the Group B upper bracket semi-finals, where they will face the winner of Team Spirit vs. HEROIC. Ninjas in Pyjamas drop to the lower bracket and are set to meet their next opponent on Monday.










IEM Cologne 2025 takes place in Cologne, Germany, featuring 24 teams across Group Stage (July 25–30), Play-In (July 23–24), and Playoffs (August 1–4). The total prize pool is $1,250,000, with $400,000 for first place, $180,000 for second, and $80,000 for third.
