Vitality cruise past 3DMAX on Nuke
Vitality advanced to a 2-1 record at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 with a one-sided 13-2 victory over 3DMAX in the third round of the Swiss stage. The best-of-one matchup played out on Nuke after all other maps were removed, and Vitality wasted no time asserting control.
Starting on the CT side, Vitality ran through the first half 10-2, showing strong setups and fast rotations. The only highlight from 3DMAX came in the opening round, where ropz pulled off a Dual Elites ace on the A site, setting the tone early. The second half was over quickly, with Vitality closing out the map with three consecutive rounds.
Robin 'ropz' Kool led the server with a 16-5 scoreline, 122.1 ADR, and a 1.87 rating, earning Player of the Match with over 87% of the votes. ZywOo added 15 kills on just four deaths, while flameZ, mezii, and apEX all contributed efficiently. All five Vitality players finished the game with a rating above 1.10.
3DMAX were outclassed from the start. No player reached double digits in kills, and the squad averaged just 50 ADR across the board. Lucky ended the map with a 3-12 score and the lowest rating of the server at 0.34. The team failed to win a single round on the T side.
Vitality will face The MongolZ next in a 2-1 bracket match for a shot at playoff qualification. That match is scheduled for June 14. 3DMAX drop to 1-2 and will meet Aurora in an elimination game.
