The results of the penultimate day of BLAST Premier: Spring Showdown 2024 1

Here's a brief summary of the matches from the fourth day of BLAST Premier: Spring Showdown 2024:

The first match featured Heroic against OG. This match ended with a highly unexpected result for many Counter-Strike fans as OG simply dominated Heroic, despite being considered the underdog. OG won the first map, Vertigo, with a score of 13:5, and the second map, Mirage, with a score of 13:6, knocking Heroic out of the tournament and securing a 5-8th place finish. Next, OG will face the Portuguese team sAw, who have already defeated Team Liquid and Cloud9, despite being underdogs in both matches.

The second match was between Monte and Metizport. Unfortunately, this match marked the end of sdy's tenure with Monte as they lost to Metizport with a score of 2:0. It's worth noting that both sdy and br0 have left the team, but due to BLAST regulations, sdy was required to play for Monte for the last time.

The last match of the day was between BIG and Team Spirit. The Dragons had little trouble on the first map, Anubis, securing a 10:2 lead on the weaker side, but miraculously, Team Spirit brought it back to 11:11. However, in the very last moment, Team Spirit rallied and finished the match with a score of 13:11 in their favor, taking it to the second map, Vertigo. Choosing their opponent, Team Spirit also dominated the first half with a score of 10:2, but there was no comeback this time. The map ended with a score of 13:3, and the Dragons are now preparing for the final day and their match against Metizport.
