The third day of the BLAST Premier: Spring Showdown 2024 has come to a close. The tournament format allows no room for second chances - teams exit the tournament after losing a series. Cloud9 are exiting the BLAST Premier: Spring Showdown 2024! Results of the third day of play 1

Brief summary of matches on the third day of BLAST Premier: Spring Showdown 2024:

There were no shortage of surprises as Cloud9 lost to the clear underdog, sAw, and exited the championship. Surprisingly, the Portuguese team managed to defeat Cloud9 convincingly, closing them out without dropping a map. On the first map, Nuke, sAw pushed C9 to overtime and secured the win, while on Overpass, they outplayed the favorites of the encounter. With this victory, the Portuguese roster secured their spot in the final, where they will face the winner of the match between OG and Heroic. In their current form, sAw have a good chance of winning the championship.

Team Spirit faced Elevate. The Dragons demonstrated their class by defeating their less experienced North American opponent, with the match ending 2-0 in favor of donk and company.

BIG defeated GamerLegion. The Germans managed to overcome GamerLegion, emerging as winners after three maps. Notably, all three maps ended with a clean score, with the losing team failing to win more than 7 rounds on any of the played maps.
