Cloud9 and Imperial Esports earn tickets to BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2023

The Showdown European and American qualifiers are now over, with Cloud9 and Imperial Esports both earning promotion to the upcoming BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2023. They were able to defeat all their opponents to make up the roster for the upcoming event in Washington.

The European region winner was Cloud9 who beat Copenhagen Flames (2-0), Ninjas in Pyjamas (2-1) and BIG (2-1). In turn, the tournament champion for the Americas was Brazilian team Imperial Esports, who outclassed Complexity Gaming (2-1), Evil Geniuses Black (2-0) and paiN Gaming (2-0).

BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2023 results for Europe:

  • 1st place: Cloud9 - $20,000 + 1,000 points + entry to BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2023
  • 2nd place: BIG - $12,500 + 600 points
  • 3-4 place: Ninjas in Pyjamas and 9INE - $7,500 + 375 points
  • 5-8 place: OG, fnatic, Copenhagen Flames and Rare Atom - $5,000 + 112.5 points

  • 1st place: Imperial Esports - $20,000 + 1,000 points + entry to BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2023
  • 2nd place: paiN Gaming - $12,500 + 600 PVs
  • 3-4 place: Team Liquid and Evil Geniuses Black - $7,500 + 375 points
  • 5-8 place: MIBR, FURIA, Complexity Gaming and Nouns Esports - $5,000 + 112.5 points

BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2023 will take place July 7-11 in the United States of America at the Entertainment & Sports Arena. Eight teams from Europe, CIS and Latin America will compete for a combined prize pool of $425,000, ranking points and a trip to the BLAST Premier: World Final 2023 for the winner.
