The Team Liquid team was defeated by BIG with a score of 0:2, which is why they left BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2023 and took the last line in the championship. According to the results of the tournament, the North American team earned $5,666 and 600 points, and also qualified for the Spring Showdown 2023. In turn, the BIG team advanced to the second round of the Play-In stage, where they will meet the Danes from Heroic.

The second series of the gaming day started on the Nuke map, which became the choice of the German team. However, hardly anyone expected such an easy and confident game from BIG, which passed over the opponent without a chance and destroyed any intrigue even before the changeover — 13:2. In the second half, "liquid" failed to appear on the server, allowing the Germans to secure an easy victory at their own peak and take the lead in the series - 16:2.

Next, the teams went to the Anubis map, which turned out to be the choice of Team Liquid. However, here the North American team again could not find their game and was forced to act as the second number. In turn, the BIG players quickly found themselves behind the defense and showed an excellent half — 11:4. After the side switching, the "liquid" still tried to return to the game, but a series of mistakes nullified all attempts. As a result, the German team managed to find the enemy's weak point in order to secure the final victory in the series and knock Team Liquid out of the championship — 16:8.

BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2023 takes place from January 19 to 29 in Copenhagen. As part of the competition, 12 partner teams compete for a total prize pool of $177,498, ranking points, and six tickets to the BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2023.
