In turn, the North American team ends their performances unsuccessfully, flying out to the Spring Showdown 2023.
The first match of the second round of Play-In started on the Anubis map, which became the choice of the North American team. At the same time, the start was entirely left to the players of Complexity Gaming. And yet, NAVI managed to wake up in the end to prevent the defeat — 8:7. After switching sides, the "Born to Win" quickly ran forward, actually breaking the opponent. But suddenly the North Americans were able to wake up and take a couple of rounds, returning the intrigue to the server. Nevertheless, the Ukrainian team managed to turn away from overtime and close the map in their favor — 16:14.
Next, the teams moved to the map Inferno, which became the choice of the "Born to Win". Here the situation was in favor of NAVI, until the North American team managed to adjust and get a minimal advantage — 8:7. It seemed that after the change of sides, the sensation would not happen. But the players of Complexity Gaming showed a well-balanced attack, thanks to which they equalized the score in the series — 16:11.
Everything was decided on the Overpass map, where the North American team continued to stick to its line and finished the half on defense with a comfortable advantage — 9:6. After switching sides, Complexity Gaming quickly ran ahead, actually signing their victory. However, here NAVI was able to turn on in order to prevent failure and create a comeback, and at the same time get the final victory in the series - 16:14.
