Now the North American team will meet with the winner of the next FaZe Clan semi-final — G2 Esports. In turn, OG left the championship, taking 3rd-4th place and earning $85,000.
The first semi-final started on the Overpass map, which became the choice of the North American team. However, the situation was initially in favor of ruggah's wards, who showed excellent defense and won eleven rounds - 11:4. After the side switch, Team Liquid expectedly joined the fight, trying to catch up with the opponent. Nevertheless, OG had enough advantage to close the map in their favor and take the lead in the series — 16:12.
Next, the teams moved to the Inferno map, which turned out to be OG's choice. Here the North Americans began to correct their position, showing excellent defense. However, nexa and the company were honored with a series of rounds to prevent defeat - 9:6. After the side switch, OG failed to put the squeeze on the opponent, while Team Liquid confidently finished the game in attack and moved the series to the destroyer — 16:10.
Everything was decided on the Anubis map, where the North Americans had a chance to start on defense. The "liquid" managed to use this to mirror the result of the first half on the Overpass map - 11:4. After the side switch, OG failed to return to the game, while Team Liquid managed to open up in the attack and bring the matter to a victorious end — 16:7.
