The Danish esports organization Heroic has announced a forced reshuffling of its CS:GO roster at the upcoming BLAST Premier World Final 2022. As a result, k0nfig will replace stavn and play with the team at the championship in Abu Dhabi. It is reported that the club decided to give the 20-year-old Dane time to rest.

k0nfig will replace stavn at the BLAST Premier World Final 2022. Some time ago, the decision was made to give Martin some rest after a long year and the 2023 season, when we as a team want to start preparations for the new year earlier. We felt that Christian was the best possible replacement when we were looking into our options. Despite the fact that he did not participate with us in the autumn finals, we hope to keep in good shape, and Christian is a great player who is eager to show the world that he has a place in the absolute top of CS:GO.

k0nfig spent the last season of his career with Astralis, where he managed to get into the top three at BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2021, BLAST Premier: Spring European Showdown 2022, Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022, Roobet Cup 2022 and Intel Extreme Masters XVII - Cologne.

However, after the scandal that occurred as part of the ESL Pro League Season 16, the Dane was kicked out of the starting lineup, and then said goodbye to the organization. A few months later, k0nfig returned to the stage to perform at the European Development Championship Season 6 with Endpoint.

In turn, stavn is one of the key drivers behind Heroic's recent success. In the last month alone, he managed to reach the finals of the Intel Extreme Masters Rio Major 2022, as well as win BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2022. However, the organization decided to give the young player time to rest so that he could return to the start of the training process before the next season.

BLAST Premier World Final 2022 will take place from December 14 to 18 in Abu Dhabi at the Etihad Arena. As part of the championship, eight teams of the season will compete for a total prize pool of $1,000,000.
