Sprout and Team Falcons left ESL Challenger League Season 42: Europe

The second day of the ESL Challenger League Season 42: Europe playoffs has come to an end, as a result of which the teams Sprout and Team Falcons suffered a second defeat and left the championship. In turn, the teams BLUEJAYS and 1WIN won their semi-final matches, thus making it to the final of the upper bracket.

In their duel, the Danish team Sprout failed to cope with the Bad News Eagles (1:2) and failed to consolidate their recent success at the RMR tournament. In turn, the French from Team Falcons lost the HEET derby (1:2), thus also leaving the competition.

In the upper bracket, the teams BLUEJAYS and 1WIN were stronger than 9INE (2:0) and Entropiq (2:0), thanks to which they reached the final of the upper bracket and got the right to break into the grand final.

ESL Challenger League Season 42: Europe runs from August 30 to October 23 online. As part of the championship, sixteen teams from Europe and the CIS are fighting for a total prize pool of $50,000, as well as a ticket to the ESL Pro League Conference Season 17, which will go to the winner.
