HEET and Entropiq are eliminated from ESL Challenger League Season 42: Europe

The third day of the ESL Challenger League Season 42: Europe playoffs has come to an end, as a result of which the teams HEET and Entropiq lost to 9INE (1:2) and Bad News Eagles (0:2), respectively, which is why they left the competition. In turn, the BLUEJAYS team became the first grand finalist of the championship, having received an advantage card over their future opponent.

In the lower bracket of the championship, the French team HEET failed to cope with the Poles from 9INE (1:2). At the same time, the Entropiq team lost to the Bad News Eagles (0:2), ending their performance in the championship.

As part of the upper bracket, the Macedonians from BLUEJAYS managed to beat 1WIN (2:1), thus making it to the grand final of the ESL Challenger League Season 42: Europe.

ESL Challenger League Season 42: Europe runs from August 30 to October 23 online. As part of the championship, sixteen teams from Europe and the CIS are fighting for a total prize pool of $50,000, as well as a ticket to the ESL Pro League Conference Season 17, which will go to the winner.

  • 1st place: $20,000 + seat at EPL Conference S17
  • 2nd place: $11,500 + S43 Challenger League seat
  • 3rd place: $7,000 + S43 Challenger League seat
  • 4th place: $4,000 + S43 Challenger League spot
  • 5th-6th place: HEET and Entropiq — $2,500 + seat in S43 Challenger League
  • 7th-8th place: Sprout and Team Falcons — $1,250 + seat in S43 Challenger League
  • 9th-12th place: 9INE, ECSTATIC, SINNERS Esports and K23 - a place in the S43 Challenger League
  • 13th-16th place: AGO Esports, Team Finest, Ungentium and SAW - relegated to S42 Relegation
