Bad News Eagles eliminated from ESL Challenger League Season 42: Europe

The Bad News Eagles team lost 0:2 to 9INE, as a result of which they left the ESL Challenger League Season 42: Europe. As a result of the event, the Kosovar team took fourth place, thus earning $4,000 and the right to play in the next ESL Challenger League.

On the eve of Bad News Eagles lost to the Polish team 9INE (0:2), leaving the third round of the lower bracket. In turn, the 9INE team advanced to the final of the upper bracket, where they will play with 1WIN for the right to reach the grand final.

Recall that the first participant in the grand final was the BLUEJAYS team, which received an advantage card after reaching the upper bracket.

ESL Challenger League Season 42: Europe runs from August 30 to October 23 online. As part of the championship, sixteen teams from Europe and the CIS are fighting for a total prize pool of $50,000, as well as a ticket to the ESL Pro League Conference Season 17, which will go to the winner.

  • 5th-6th place: HEET and Entropiq — $2,500 + seat in S43 Challenger League
  • 7th-8th place: Sprout and Team Falcons — $1,250 + seat in S43 Challenger League
  • 9th-12th place: 9INE, ECSTATIC, SINNERS Esports and K23 - a place in the S43 Challenger League
  • 13th-16th place: AGO Esports, Team Finest, Ungentium and SAW - relegated to S42 Relegation
