As a result, Team Liquid managed to quickly adapt to the opponent's attack, and at the same time took the lead in the series — 16:11.

Next, the teams moved to the map Ancient, which turned out to be the choice of Cloud9. At the same time, the first half was left for the North Americans, who played excellent defense and gave the opponent only four rounds - 11:4. However, after switching sides, Cloud9 managed to turn the game on its head to make a cool comeback and even the score in the series - 16:13.

Everything was decided on the Dust 2 map, the first half of which ended with a minimal advantage in favor of the North American team — 8:7. After switching sides, Cloud9 still tried to return to the fight, but to no avail. As a result, Team Liquid got the final victory and reached the grand final of the competition — 16:13.
