Team Liquid outplayed MOUZ with a score of 2:0, thanks to which they made it to the semi-finals of ESL Pro League Season 16. Here the North American team will meet the winner of the Cloud9 match - FaZe Clan. In turn, the "mice" leave the competition, taking 5th-8th place and earning $37,500.

The first quarter-final of the event started on the Inferno map, which turned out to be the choice of the North American team. At the same time, "liquid" almost immediately seized the initiative on the server, showing a solid attack, and at the same time taking eleven rounds at once - 11:4. After the side switch, MOUZ players tried to return to the fight, but in vain. As a result, Team Liquid managed to keep their advantage and then take the lead in the series — 16:10.

After a short break, the teams moved to the Ancient map, which became the choice of MOUZ. Here the struggle turned out to be a little more, because the “mice” were still trying to impose their game in attack, but still did not escape defeat in the first half - 9:6. After switching sides, MOUZ managed to win the pistol round, but immediately after that, there was a failure. In turn, Team Liquid quickly caught its wave in order to unleash its full potential in attack and get a fundamental victory over the opponent — 16:11.
