The NaVi team outplayed Heroic with a score of 2:1, thanks to which they made it to the quarterfinals of ESL Pro League Season 16. Here the "Born to Win" will meet with the G2 Esports team. In turn, the Danish team leaves the championship, taking 9-12th place.

The final match of the first round of the playoffs started on the Mirage map, which became the choice of the Ukrainian team. However, the start was entirely left to the Heroic players, who managed to keep the advantage — 9:6. After switching sides, the teams continued to exchange a series of rounds. But here the "Born to Win" joined the game, who managed to make the final comeback and take the lead in the series - 16:14.

The teams then moved on to Inferno, which turned out to be Heroic's choice. Now the Ukrainian team started right off the bat, having managed to close the first half with a comfortable advantage — 9:6. After the change of sides, the game was again divided into segments. And yet, in the very ending, Heroic managed to take control of the game and equalize the score in the series - 16:14.

Everything was decided on the Overpass map, which started with an abundance of technical difficulties that prevented the teams from finishing the game day. However, after solving the problems, NAVI managed to seize the initiative, and then snatched the final victory - 16:7.

ESL Pro League Season 16 runs from August 31st to October 2nd in Malta at the Salini Resort. 24 teams from Europe, CIS, North and South America compete for a total prize pool of $835,000.
