9z qualified for ESL Challenger at DreamHack Anaheim 2022

Team 9z qualified for ESL Challenger at DreamHack Anaheim 2022. Following the closed qualifier in South America, the team took the only ticket from their region. In the final of the closed qualifier, 9z outplayed Isurus with a score of 2: 0.

9z began her journey through the closed qualifier with a convincing victory over Los Grandes (2: 0). And if the first card went through one wicket, then the second card made the favorite get nervous. In the final of the upper bracket, the team easily dealt with Isurus, not allowing the opponent to break through the total on both maps.

In the final of the closed qualifier, 9z was to face Isurus again, who overcame Los Grandes (2: 0) in the lower bracket and got the opportunity to take revenge. Surprisingly, the final was held in a bitter struggle, since none of the teams could boast of an overwhelming advantage. However, in the endings of two maps, 9z managed to snatch victory and get a ticket to ESL Challenger at DreamHack Anaheim 2022.

ESL Challenger at DreamHack Anaheim 2022 will be held in the American city of Anaheim from 11 to 13 February. Eight teams will take part in the tournament, four of which will receive direct invitations from the organizers. The championship prize pool will be $ 100,000, while the champion will also receive $ 50,000 and a ticket to the EPL S16 Conference.
