Closed qualifiers for ESL Challenger Anaheim 2022 have started, as a result of which four teams from four regions will have the opportunity to participate in the tournament in the American city of Anaheim. The first to open their way to the championship were the teams from Oceania, who had already managed to determine the first finalist of the closed qualification.

Oceania

LookingForOrg, ORDER, Paradox Esports and VERTEX Esports Club are taking part in the pursuit of a spot at ESL Challenger Anaheim 2022. While the first two teams received direct invites from the organizers, the last ones made their way to the qualification through the open qualifiers. At the end of the first day of the closed qualifier, LookingForOrg reached the final, beating Paradox Esports (2: 0) and ORDER (2: 0), thus waiting for their final opponent.

At the same time, Paradox Esports has already left the qualification, having lost both meetings to LookingForOrg (0: 2) and VERTEX ESC (0: 2). Thus, VERTEX ESC and ORDER will determine the second finalist of the closed qualifier.

The closed qualifier for ESL Challenger Anaheim 2022 in Oceania runs online from December 9-10.

South America

In South America, four teams will compete for their only ticket to ESL Challenger Anaheim 2022: 9z Team, Isurus, Los Grandes and Leviatán. The region will also qualify online from December 9-10. At the same time, only a few hours remain before the start of the first fights.

North America

In the next region, four teams will compete for a slot at ESL Challenger Anaheim 2022, namely Extra Salt, paiN Gaming, Team One and Bad News Bears. And if the first two teams received invitations from the organizers, then the last ones made their way to the qualification through the open qualifiers.
