Extra Salt will perform at ESL Challenger Anaheim 2022

The Extra Salt team will take part in ESL Challenger Anaheim 2022. Following the results of the closed qualifier from North America, the team took the only ticket from their region. In the final of the closed qualifier, Extra Salt outplayed paiN Gaming with a score of 2: 1.

The qualification for the future winner began with a tough victory over Team One, as the Brazilian squad managed to deliver Extra Salt problems on both maps, breaking through the total. In the final of the upper bracket, the team effortlessly beat paiN Gaming with a score of 2: 0, getting additional time to rest and prepare for the decisive match.

In the final of the closed qualifier, Extra Salt again met with paiN Gaming, which beat Bad News Bears in the lower bracket (2: 1) and got a chance for revenge. At the same time, the meeting began with the victory of the Brazilians on the Nuke map, which automatically put them in the lead. However, on the two remaining maps, Extra Salt showed character to snatch a ticket to ESL Challenger Anaheim 2022.

ESL Challenger Anaheim 2022 will be held in the American city of Anaheim from 11 to 13 February. Eight teams will take part in the tournament, four of which will receive direct invitations from the organizers. The championship prize pool will be $ 100,000, while the champion will also receive $ 50,000 and a ticket to the EPL S16 Conference.
