Tournament organizer ESL has published a list of teams that have received an invitation to the closed qualifier for ESL Challenger Anaheim 2022 in Europe, North America, Oceania and South America. In the European division, forZe, SINNERS, Team Fiend and ECSTATIC will compete for a slot in the main tournament. They will join Sprout, Savage, Eternal Fire and Double Poney who have passed the open qualifiers sieve.

In North America, Extra Salt and paiN Gaming received their invitations, which will compete for a ticket to ESL Challenger Anaheim 2022 with Team One and Bad News Bears, who have passed the open qualifiers. In Oceania, invites went to the LookingForOrg and ORDER teams, which will compete for a slot for the tournament together with VERTEX Esports Club and Paradox Esports. In South America, the organizers issued invitations to 9z Team and Isurus. These teams will face Los Grandes and Leviatán Esports.

The closed qualifier in Europe will take place online from December 11 to 13. Teams from North America will compete for a slot in ESL Challenger Anaheim 2022 from December 11-12, while competitors in Oceania and South America will hold their qualifications from December 9-10.

ESL Challenger Anaheim 2022 will be held in the American city of Anaheim from 11 to 13 February. Eight teams will take part in the tournament, four of which will receive direct invitations from the organizers. The championship prize pool will be $ 100,000, while the champion will also receive $ 50,000 and a ticket to the EPL S16 Conference.
