Execration
Execration is a team from the Philippines that earned its spot in the tournament as the Host Region team. The squad is not known for major achievements and mostly competes in Tier-2 and Tier-3 tournaments, where they are among the strongest teams. Among Execration’s best performances this season are podium finishes in regional qualifiers for high-level tournaments and a 1st place finish at the Asian Dragon Series: Continental Collision.
Team Liquid

Team Liquid is one of the most famous esports organizations in history and the winner of The International 2017 and The International 2024. During the 2025 season, the team has shown rather inconsistent results but performed strongly in LAN tournaments, claiming victories at PGL Wallachia Season 3, PGL Wallachia Season 4, and FISSURE Universe: Episode 5, as well as finishing 3rd at PGL Wallachia Season 5 and FISSURE Universe: Episode 6.
Team Falcons

The team from Saudi Arabia has finally reached the expected level of play and entered the ranks of the top teams of the 2025 season. Team Falcons have strong investments and a roster that delivers results. The main achievements of the team in 2025 include victories at The International 2025 and FISSURE Universe: Episode 6, 2nd place at the Esports World Cup 2025 and BLAST Slam III, and 3rd place at PGL Wallachia Season 3. Team Falcons are considered one of the favorites to win BLAST Slam IV.
Tundra Esports

The bronze medalists of TI 2024 are having a great season and are also regarded as one of the favorites at BLAST Slam IV. This season, Tundra Esports have earned the most podium finishes at Tier-1 tournaments among all teams. Their key achievements include 1st place at BLAST Slam II and BLAST Slam III, 2nd place at PGL Wallachia Season 3 and DreamLeague Season 25, and 3rd place at PGL Wallachia Season 4 and ESL One Raleigh 2025. The team is determined to deliver their best performance to redeem themselves after a disappointing result at The International 2025.
Team Spirit

Team Spirit has been one of the strongest professional Dota 2 teams in recent years. The squad are champions of TI 2021 and TI 2023 and continue to show good results this season. Among Team Spirit’s best performances in 2025 are victories at the Esports World Cup 2025 and DreamLeague Season 25, as well as a 2nd place finish at ESL One Raleigh 2025. Fans can expect more creative strategies and high-quality gameplay from Team Spirit at BLAST Slam IV.
BB Team
This team is not among the strongest but has been showing decent results. BB Team is a relatively new Eastern European team formed in 2022 that quickly rose from Tier-2–3 to Tier-1 level. During the 2025 season, they frequently placed in the top 8 and occasionally in the top 4 of high-level tournaments. Their best results this season include a 1st place finish at PGL Wallachia Season 5 and 2nd place at DreamLeague Season 26.
MOUZ
MOUZ is not a well-known Dota 2 team and mostly competes in Tier-2 and Tier-3 tournaments. The team made some roster changes this season, leading to inconsistent performances, but they occasionally achieved success in local events. BLAST Slam IV is a chance for the MOUZ to establish themselves at a higher level.
HEROIC
HEROIC was founded in 2024 and quickly reached a professional level. This season, the team successfully participated in several qualifiers, securing 8th place at DreamLeague Season 25 and 4th place at FISSURE Universe: Episode 5. HEROIC became the biggest surprise of The International 2025, where they finished in 6th place at the year’s main Dota 2 tournament.
Natus Vincere
The legendary Ukrainian team returned to competing at the highest level this season. NAVI were the first-ever TI champions and have repeatedly earned podium finishes. The current Natus Vincere roster consists of players from NAVI Junior, who earned their spot on the main team after successful qualifiers for The International 2025 and the Esports World Cup 2025. The team has also been showing solid results this fall, and while they are not among the favorites to win BLAST Slam IV, they certainly cannot be underestimated.
Aurora Gaming
A fairly strong team from Eastern Europe. They don’t particularly stand out but consistently show decent results. Thanks to roster changes this year, Aurora Gaming have improved their performance and even secured 3rd place at FISSURE Universe: Episode 5.
Yakult Brothers
Yakult Brothers are one of the strongest teams in China. The squad consistently competes in Tier-1 tournaments and, while they haven’t achieved major success, they’ve proven themselves as a solid mid-tier contender. The main achievements of Yakult Brothers in 2025 include 2nd place at ACL X ESL Challenger China and 5th–6th place at BLAST Slam II. The team is in good form and could deliver a strong performance at BLAST Slam IV.
Team Aureus
For Team Aureus, BLAST Slam IV marks their debut at the professional Dota 2 level. Little is known about this Filipino team, but the local crowd will surely be cheering for them.
