How to Enter Lioncrest Manor — Strongbox Puzzle Solution for Crimson Desert

Lioncrest Manor blocks Kliff at the front door, but a second-floor window on the building's north side lets players bypass the guards. The climb does not trigger a trespassing flag or bounty. Inside, a dwarf NPC named "stranger" provides the feedback needed to finish Bruna's Request. A strongbox on the second floor contains an Engraved Gold Earring, unlocked through a panel rotation puzzle. Equip a mask before looting, because opening the strongbox temporarily flags the theft.
Where Is Lioncrest Manor on the Crimson Desert Map?

Lioncrest Manor is on the west side of the City of Hernand, up a sloping hill path in the Hernandian Territory. Baron Adrian Alfonso uses the grounds for archery and swordsmanship tournaments outside of quest events. I find the location easy to miss on a first visit because the hill path blends into the surrounding terrain with no obvious landmark on the map.
How to Enter Lioncrest Manor

Head to the northern end of the manor, near the spiked wooden fence and the cluster of trees. Two climbable windows sit along the second-floor exterior wall. Approach either one, scale the building, and hold position until the interaction prompt appears. It takes a moment, so don't walk off too early. The left window drops Kliff directly into the target room. Taking the middle window instead puts you in an adjacent space, and you'll need to pass through the left-hand door to reach the same area.
Crimson Desert: Bruna's Request Quest Walkthrough

Bruna's Request is a three-stop side quest that ends inside Lioncrest Manor. Kliff travels across the Hernandian Territory collecting notes and relaying feedback on tacks. Each stop requires a specific interaction before the quest marker updates.
- Visit the stables and pick up the Tack Keeper's Note from a barrel behind the barn, near two standing soldiers.
- Examine the note in your inventory to update the quest marker.
- Travel to the Royal Trading Post west of Hernand City and speak with the noble under the middle tent.
- Climb through Lioncrest Manor's second-floor window and talk to the dwarf stranger on the first floor.
- Follow the quest marker back to Bruna's Assistant and deliver the feedback to complete the quest.
The stables are quick. Grab the note, read it, move on. The Royal Trading Post demands patience during a scripted NPC interaction. Lioncrest Manor is where players actually get stuck, because the front entrance stays locked behind faction reputation with House Alfonso. Climbing through the window skips that gate.
Royal Trading Post

At the Royal Trading Post, find the noble standing beneath the middle tent. Start the conversation and do not move Kliff until the interaction finishes on its own. Moving early cancels the exchange and forces you to restart the dialogue from scratch. Once the noble finishes, a Royal Delivery Note appears in your inventory. Inspect it to advance the quest.
Bruna's Request Quest Rewards

Completing Bruna's Request pays out quest experience and gold. The strongbox inside Lioncrest Manor holds the Engraved Gold Earring separately from quest completion. I think the strongbox puzzle is the actual highlight here. Rotate each picture panel until the image matches the correct configuration; there's no penalty for wrong turns or solving them out of order. No unique weapon drops from this quest line, though the earring counts toward gear collection progress.

Combat in Crimson Desert rewards studying enemy timing before committing to attacks. Shields absorb heavy damage in multi-enemy encounters, particularly in faction-controlled zones where ambush difficulty scales with story progression. Getting shield durability past +5 through Equipment Refinement costs Abyss Artifacts, same as every other high-end upgrade.
Patch 1.01.00 shipped on March 28, 2026, adding five new mounts: Silver Fang, White Bear, Snowwhite Deer, Rock Tusk Warthog, and Icicle Edge Alpine Ibex. Defeat the creature, skin it for materials, then craft a Sigil at a Witch's Altar to register the mount on the radial wheel permanently.
Abyss Artifacts replace experience-based leveling in Crimson Desert. Every skill unlock, stat boost, and equipment push past +5 depends on collecting them through enemy farming or tracking down the 141 Sealed Artifacts scattered across Pywel.
