BLAST Premier: World Final 2024 - Group Stage Review

The group stage of the BLAST Premier: World Final 2024 has concluded, leaving only 6 of the original 8 teams still in the race for the BLAST Premier title. Let’s take a look back at the action.
The group stage was split into two groups, A and B. Group A consisted of Na’Vi, Astralis, MOUZ, and FaZe Clan. All teams demonstrated strong performances, but as with any tournament, there are always those who must fall. In the elimination match, Na’Vi faced FaZe Clan. Unfortunately for Na’Vi fans, Natus Vincere lost two matches in their group and exited the tournament, managing to win only one map against FaZe Clan. In the winners’ bracket, Astralis went up against MOUZ. Despite analyst predictions, Astralis delivered a flawless performance, conceding no maps to their opponents and securing a spot directly in the semifinals on October 2.
MOUZ and FaZe Clan each won one match in their group, advancing to the quarterfinals, which will take place on October 1.
Group B featured G2 Esports, Team Spirit, Team Liquid, and Vitality. In the elimination match, Team Liquid and Vitality clashed. Both teams were well-prepared for each other and played confidently on their own picks, which led the match to a deciding map, Nuke. In a close contest, Vitality emerged victorious, defeating Liquid with a score of 13-11. Liquid heads home, while Vitality moves on to the quarterfinals. In the winners’ bracket, G2 Esports faced Team Spirit after both teams secured victories on day one.
