VALORANT Masters Bangkok 2025: T1 Sensationally Eliminated DRX From the Tournament. Match Details
In the decisive match for a playoff spot, DRX faced T1 Esports, with DRX being the clear favorites. However, despite expectations, T1 Esports pulled off a sensational 2-0 victory.
On the first map, Fracture, DRX started on the attacking side. They put up a decent offense, but securing only seven rounds on attack wasn’t ideal, as defense is generally more challenging on this map. After the side switch, T1 Esports started gaining rounds, while DRX managed to win key clutches, keeping the game close. However, in a crucial round, Meteor, a T1 player, bypassed an unfortunate Cypher trap on Dish, took down two DRX players, and secured an easy A-site take. This moment proved to be the turning point, leading to a well-earned 13-11 victory for T1.
On the second map, Pearl, DRX struggled to find their rhythm. Starting on attack, they managed to win only four rounds, and their defense fell apart completely. T1 Esports dominated with a 13-4 victory, eliminating DRX from the tournament.
DRX finished in 5th-6th place at VALORANT Masters Bangkok 2025, earning $15,000 as a team.
