The match between T1 and EDward Gaming in the Swiss Stage of VALORANT Masters Santiago 2026 ended with a 2–0 victory for T1. The Korean squad showed a confident performance throughout the series, dominating the first map and closing out a competitive second map without allowing EDG to force a decider.

Map scores:

  • Bind — 13:1 T1
  • Haven — 13:10 T1

Bind

On the opening map, Bind, T1 took full control from the very beginning. Starting strong on defense, they consistently shut down EDward Gaming’s executes and won early duels across the map. EDG struggled to establish momentum and repeatedly found themselves at an economic disadvantage.

T1 ’s structured setups and aggressive retakes left little room for comeback opportunities. EDward Gaming managed to secure just one round on the map, while T1 confidently closed Bind 13:1 to take a commanding 1–0 lead in the series.

Haven

The second map, Haven, was significantly more competitive. EDward Gaming looked more organized and proactive, finding success in mid-round adjustments and winning several crucial aim duels. The Chinese side kept the score close and applied pressure throughout both halves.

However, in the most important moments, T1 demonstrated greater composure. They secured key defensive rounds late in the game and won critical clutch situations that prevented EDG from equalizing the score. T1 ultimately sealed Haven 13:10, closing the series 2–0.

With this victory, T1 strengthen their position in the Swiss Stage, while EDward Gaming move closer to elimination and will need a strong response in their upcoming match to stay alive in the tournament.
