T1 Eliminated from VALORANT Masters Santiago 2026 After 0–2 Loss to G2 Esports
The match between T1 and G2 Esports in the Swiss Stage of VALORANT Masters Santiago 2026 ended with a 2–0 victory for G2. The North American squad looked more confident throughout the series and controlled most of the key rounds, while T1 struggled to find consistent momentum. As a result, the Korean team has been eliminated from the tournament.
Map scores:
- Breeze — 13:6 G2
- Haven — 13:9 G2
Breeze
The first map, Breeze, was picked by T1, but the Korean team was unable to fully take advantage of their choice. G2 started strongly, winning several early rounds and setting the tempo of the map.
T1 managed to find a few openings and reduce the gap at times, but G2’s coordinated team play and consistent aim duels kept them in control. Whenever T1 attempted to build momentum, G2 responded with key defensive rounds and retakes. In the end, the North American side closed the map 13:6, taking the lead in the series.
Haven
On Haven, G2 continued to look solid. They secured the pistol round and quickly built a small advantage, forcing T1 to constantly play from behind.
Although T1 showed more resistance on the second map and managed to win several important rounds, they were unable to fully stabilize their economy or string together enough rounds to challenge for the map. G2 remained calm in the late game and confidently closed Haven 13:9, finishing the series 2–0.
With this loss, T1 leave VALORANT Masters Santiago 2026 during the Swiss Stage. G2 Esports, meanwhile, continue their run in the tournament and remain in contention for a playoff spot.
