The first map was an easy win for the North American team, G2 Esports, as they secured their pick, Lotus, with a dominant 13-5 scoreline. Starting on the attack, G2 took eight rounds, allowing them to quickly shift the series to the second map.
The second map, Haven, saw both teams battling to a 6-6 halftime score. However, after the side switch, T1 Esports demonstrated a stronger attacking performance, which led to them equalizing the series. T1 claimed Haven with a 13-9 victory.
The third map, Abyss, featured an outstanding performance from T1 Esports' Kim "Meteor" Tae-o, who played Reyna. T1 had a strong start, securing eight rounds on attack. However, their defense fell just short, and G2 Esports managed to edge out a 13-11 win.
Next was Split, where the match remained extremely close despite an 8-4 halftime lead for G2 Esports. After switching sides, T1 Esports took control on defense, matching G2's half with eight rounds of their own. This forced the game into overtime, where T1 Esports proved to be the better team, securing a 15-13 victory.
The final and deciding map, Pearl, saw T1 Esports once again take an 8-4 lead in the first half. However, their attack struggled to break through G2's defenses, making for yet another overtime thriller. Unfortunately for G2 fans, luck and clutch moments favored the South Korean squad, as T1 Esports sealed the series with a 16-14 win.
