The match between GIANTX and Pcific Esports in the VCT 2026: EMEA Kickoff ended with a 2–1 victory for GIANTX. The European squad managed to recover the flow of the game after a shaky start to the series and closed out the decider to advance further in the tournament bracket.

Map scores:

  • Abyss — 13:10 GIANTX
  • Bind — 13:9 Pcific
  • Split — 13:11 GIANTX

The series started on Abyss, where Pcific Esports initially controlled the pace of the game. They secured early rounds thanks to strong openings and coordinated site executions. However, GIANTX quickly adapted, tightening their defense and punishing Pcific’s mid-round decisions. After switching sides, GIANTX took over completely, stringing together multiple rounds in a row to close the map 13:10 and take the lead.

On Bind, Pcific showed a much more disciplined approach. The team slowed the tempo, relied on better utility usage, and found consistent value in late-round situations. GIANTX struggled to maintain their defensive setups and often lost control of key areas. Pcific capitalized on these mistakes and secured the map 13:9, tying the series 1–1.

Split became the deciding battleground and the most competitive map of the series. Both teams traded rounds throughout the match, with neither side able to build a significant lead. The turning point came in the late game, when GIANTX won several crucial rounds, including a key force buy that broke Pcific’s economy. Maintaining composure in the final rounds, GIANTX closed out Split 13:11 and secured the series 2–1.
