The penultimate match of the day featured a confrontation between Natus Vincere and Karmine Corp. Prior to this encounter, both teams held high positions in the standings and were considered leaders, each carrying a 4-1 record. Let us proceed with the match review.

Game 1 Picks:

  • Natus Vincere: Poppy, Aatrox, Taliyah, Aphelios, Nautilus
  • Karmine Corp: Ambessa, Pantheon, Azir, Yunara, Leona

The match began at a very slow pace without any kills, which was a disadvantageous start for NAVI. Their team composition functioned on a specific timing, making an early-game snowball essential for their success. The first kills did not occur until the 11th minute, and they were secured by Karmine Corp. KC demonstrated a clear understanding of both their own and their opponent's power spikes, choosing to avoid unnecessary engagements.

From the 15th minute onward, both teams became more active and began rotating across the map. NAVI managed to execute a successful fight in the bot lane, taking down three Karmine Corp champions; however, this ultimately had little impact on the game's momentum. Karmine Corp displayed superior map movement and even better teamfighting capabilities. Frequently surviving with low health, they utilized their area-of-effect ultimates and high mobility to control every encounter and outpace their opponents. This strategic execution granted them a 7,000 gold lead by the 23rd minute.

Recognizing their advantage, Karmine Corp decided to secure Baron at the 29th minute. NAVI attempted to respond, knowing they had to capitalize on the Baron debuff applied to KC. However, Karmine Corp proved to be too strong, winning the teamfight with a clean sweep, securing the Baron, and subsequently ending the game.

With this victory, Karmine Corp now holds the top spot in the group with a 5-1 record, while NAVI moves to a 4-2 standing.

This year, the LEC Versus 2026 does not provide a cash prize for winning the tournament. Instead, teams are competing for the opportunity to qualify for the international tournament, First Stand 2026. The Regular Season will be held in a Bo1 format where every team faces each other. In total, teams will play 11 matches each, and those with the best results will advance to the playoffs.
