Next up is the match between MKOI and Karmine Corp Blue. In this matchup, MKOI are the clear favorites, currently holding a 3-1 record and ranking as a top-3 team in the LEC. Karmine Corp Blue, the academy roster for KC, is making its debut on the Tier-1 stage and enters the match with a 1-3 record. Let's see how the game unfolded.

Game 1 Picks:

  • MKOI: Rumble, Vi, Taliyah, Aphelios, Alistar
  • Karmine Corp Blue: K`Sante, Xin Zhao, Ryze, Yunara, Bard

The teams started very energetically, and the match was intriguing from the opening minutes. First Blood went to Karmine Corp Blue, but the overall advantage remained with MKOI. They seized control after a mid-lane skirmish, tipping the kill score in their favor at 2:3. Additionally, MKOI secured the first dragon, which was a significant objective.

After the tenth minute, both teams stepped up the pace, attempting to impose their playstyle on their opponents. However, MKOI 's extensive experience proved to be a decisive factor. Excellent map control and superior resource distribution in fights allowed them to build a lead of over 7,500 gold and secure two more dragons.

By the 20th minute, MKOI led by more than 10,000 gold, giving them total freedom across the map. They completely pinned KCB inside their base, cutting off their movement and farm. By the 23rd minute, the lead skyrocketed to over 16,000 gold, and MKOI were essentially having fun as they slowly closed out the game.

An easy and clean game for MKOI, bringing them to a 4-1 record. KCB drops further down the standings with a 1-4 record.
